Who?

David Reis is a film director, cinematographer and creator. he was born in Porto Alegre, Brazil. He got a Bachelor’s in Advertising from PUC/RS University and UCAM University in Spain, and a Graduate in People’s Management to best deal with the crew and cast on set. 
He is a specialist in Cinematography by UCLA, Los Angeles, where he embraced his passion for cinematic composition.
He directed commercials and branded content for major brands such as Heineken, Coca-Cola, Sol, Gerdau, Votorantim, Marcopolo, Sprite, Cielo, to name a few.

Academy and Hands-on

David deepened his directing actors skills at EICTV in Cuba where he studied the Stanislavski method and, had Palm D’or winner Abbas Kiarostami as a mentor who supervised his short film Disfruta, Spain 2012. He worked as a director and cinematographer in projects that were exhibited on HBO Max, Netflix, MTV, SXSW, Billboard, Globo, Bienal do Mercosul, and other platforms.

Having shot in over 20 countries, he is also available for international travel. English, Spanish, and Portuguese fluent speaker.
